Gangaa Jamunaa and Saraswathi the most pious rivers, create a unique holy merger, popularly known as "Sangam". Likewise the characters of our story Gangaa Jamunaa and Saraswathi desire to meet and merge in love of each other. Gangaa Jamunaa begin to love each other and pledge to become one, Saraswati silently loves Gangaa, and dedicates her life to him. However there are many, who would like to separate the happy lovers. There is Hansraj, who does it, and with the result Jamuna separates from Gangaa. Jamuna reaches Shanker's home, Shanker who already loved her becomes extremely happy finding Jamuna in his home. In the meantime Saraswati was about to come closer to Ganga. When Hansraj, who had earlier swindled the property of Ganga's father by illegal means wanted to get rid of the rightful owner Ganga, he got Ganga shot. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and a peg of brandy instead of a glass milk, Vicky Kapoor, the only son of multi-millionaire industrialist, Amarnath, grows up to be an alcoholic, albeit with a good heart. Dharamchand is the Chair of Olympic Bank, which is due for a final audit by the 30th of the month. Shortly thereafter, his daughter, Hema, finds his dead body in his bedroom. She phones her brother, Ratan, who arrives, finds a suicide note in his dad's room, clarifying that he had embezzled 20 lakhs from the bank, is unable to repay it, and hence is killing himself. Ratan decides to protect the good name of the family and does not tell anyone about the suicide note to anyone, including Hema. Shortly thereafter, Ratan is approached by a blackmailer named Shekhar, who threatens to expose Ratan's secret if Ratan does not participate in a bank robbery that will take place two days before the final audit. Ratan assists him, the robbery takes place, the money is looted, all bank records are burnt, and the robbers make a successful getaway.
