This Soviet film is a biography of the Georgian primitive artist Nikoloz Pirosmanishvili (1862–1918), better known as Pirosmani, who died of starvation and sold his paintings to bars and restaurants for food and drink. The film experiments with color control techniques based on the painter’s style.

خلاصه داستان : پسران دلیر خوسورتی و کیستیتی برای حفاظت از وطن خود با هر یک می جنگند. اما برای احترام به قدرت واقعی دشمن با سنت‌های نادرست داخلی مقابله می‌کنند و خود را در تضاد با هموطنان خود می‌بینند.

Brave sons of Khevsureti and Kisteti fight against each to protect their homelands. But, they confront faulty domestic traditions to respect enemy’s true prowess and find themselves in conflict with own compatriots.
