خلاصه داستان : داستان فیلم مارمالاد مردی در زندان را دنبال می‌کند که داستان رنگارنگ دزدی عاشقانه از بانک را برای هم‌سلولی حلیه‌گر خود روایت می‌کند. وی به‌دنبال این است تا از سلول خود فرار کند و دوباره با عشق جذاب زندگی‌اش متحد شود.

Baron, an imprisoned man, strikes up a friendship with cellmate Otis. As the pair hatch an escape plan together, Baron recalls the story of how he met Marmalade, the love of his life, and their Bonnie and Clyde scheme to rob a bank in order to care for his sick mother and give the couple the life they’ve always dreamed of.

An outlaw is rescued from death by a nun who is traveling through the Badlands. She nurses him back to health in exchange for him guiding her to a Church in Williston. A deep friendship develops between these two unlikely people as they learn to work together to survive their dangerous journey.
