خلاصه داستان : در حین فیلمبرداری مستندی درباره کارمندان دولتی «مفقود شده»، یک دو نفر فیلمساز به طور تصادفی به چارولا، مادر یونانی مضطرب، مستاصل و بیش از حد محافظت می‌کنند که به دنبال پسر کارمند گمشده‌اش می‌گردد.

While shooting a documentary about “missing” civill servants a filmmaking duo stumble upon Charoula, a desperate, overprotective Greek mother searching for her missing civil servant son. But when his name is linked to government fraud with a foreign female accomplice, Charoula sets out her other, disabled son, Lefteris to clear his name. With the help of a Greek African taxi driver and a less than helpful antifa group of misfits, the documentary duo follow Charoula on her quest to find and bring him back home where he belongs, even if it means discovering who her son really is.

Under the hot Greek sun, animators at an all-inclusive island resort prepare for the busy tourist season. Kalia is the group leader. Paper decorations, glossy costumes and dance shows fill the stage. As summer intensifies and the work pressure builds up, their nights become violent and Kalia's struggle is revealed in the darkness. But when the spotlights turn on again, the show must go on.
