Paris, 1984. A group of friends contend with the first outbreak of the AIDS epidemic.

خلاصه داستان : کارولین بازنشسته شده و متوجه شده است که این آزادی جدید مترادف با خستگی است. به خصوص وقتی عضو باشگاه بزرگسالان محله می شود...

Bright days ahead? Caroline has retired, at last. A new life lies before her: time to take care of her children, her husband, and, most of all, herself. However, she soon comes to realize that this new freedom is synonymous with boredom and idleness. Especially when she receives a membership to her neighborhood’s senior club as a birthday present… Reluctant at first, she nevertheless decides to take the plunge. Oddly enough, she meets great people there, starting with the young computer science teacher, who is far from insensitive to her charms. Caroline gradually takes control of her life again and lives a second youth: taking a new lover, living new experiences, breaking the rules, not doing what’s expected of her… Who said that retirement was the beginning of the end and not a new beginning?

خلاصه داستان : یک ژاندارم در حال مرگ ، برخورد خود را با هنرمند کاتالان ، جوزپ بارتولو ، در اردوگاه کار اجباری فرانسه پس از جنگ داخلی اسپانیا به یاد می آورد.

February 1939. Overwhelmed by the flood of Republicans fleeing Franco's dictatorship, the French government's solution consists in confining the Spanish refugees in concentration camps where they have no other choice than to build their own shelters, feed off the horses which have carried them out of their country, and die by the hundred for lack of hygiene and water... In one of these camps, two men, separated by barbwire, will become friends. One is a guard the other is Josep Bartoli (Barcelona 1910 - New York 1995), a cartoonist who fights against the Franco regime.
