On 31 January 1968, 31 North Korean commandos infiltrated South Korea in a failed mission to assassinate President Park Chung-hee. In revenge, the South Korean military assembled a team of 31 criminals on the island of Silmido to kill Kim Il-sung for a suicide mission to redeem their honor, but was cancelled, leaving them frustrated. It is loosely based on a military uprising in the 1970s.

خلاصه داستان : داستان این سریال درباره تحقیقات جنایی براساس پرونده ی واقعی قتل های زنجیره ای هواسونگ است. ۲۰سال پیش پدرِ ها مو یوم (یون سانگ هیون) مظنون پرونده قتل های سریالی Gap Dong بود. او به دلیل بازجویی های پرخاشگرانه ی بازرس پرونده، خودکشی کرد. بعد از ۲۰ سال مو یوم بازرس شده و کار خود...

20 years ago Moo-Yeom’s father was a suspect in the "Gap Dong” serial murder case. Because of the detectives’ oppressive investigation, Moo-Yeom’s father killed himself. Now, Moo-Yeom is a detective and works to capture the killer Gap Dong. The statue of limitations has expired for the serial murder case and Moo-Yeom resigns to the belief that Gap Dong is dead. New clues though for Gap Dong appears in front of Moo-Yeom and he sets out to catch him once and for all.
