خلاصه داستان : پس از ناپدید شدن مرموز همسرش مادالنا، ایلان درگیر سفری بی‌خواب در تاریک‌ترین مکان‌های شهر می‌شود و سعی می‌کند بفهمد چه اتفاقی برای او افتاده است، بدون اینکه عقل خود را در راه از دست بدهد.

As he does every single day, Elon goes to meet his wife at her workplace, but she is not there. He doesn’t find her at home as well, so he starts to retrace the path Madalena makes daily. In the morning after, Elon goes to the police station and files a report, runs into hospitals, morgues. Alone, he wanders through a metropolis, searching for news about the sudden and mysterious disappearance of his wife.

After leaving her daughter Jessica in a small town in Pernambuco to be raised by relatives, Val spends the next 13 years working as a nanny to Fabinho in São Paulo. She has financial stability but has to live with the guilt of having not raised Jessica herself. As Fabinho’s university entrance exams approach, Jessica reappears in her life and seems to want to give her mother a second chance. However, Jessica has not been raised to be a servant and her very existence will turn Val’s routine on its head.
