خلاصه داستان : در آستانه‌ی اخراج از فرانسه، پسری از خانواده‌ای دیپلمات، برای یافتن اقامت و معنای زندگی، در مؤسسه‌ای اسلامیِ تدفین مشغول به کار می‌شود؛ جایی که مواجهه با مرگ، او را به کشف دوباره‌ی خود می‌رساند.

Sofiane, the son of a former Algerian diplomat, has travelled a lot. Having moved to Lyon for his studies, he is the victim of an administrative decision and lives under constant threat of deportation. In the hope of regularising his situation, he agrees to work for a Muslim funeral parlour. Between parties, encounters and his job, Sofiane finds himself on a journey of initiation that will lead him to build his own identity and gradually move towards adulthood.

Grandson of a legendary rugby player, son of a legendary rugby player, and he himself a legendary rugby player, Jo Canavero raises his only son, Tom, in a small village in the Tarn region. To the great displeasure of Jo, thirteen-year-old Tom is as good at math as he is useless on the rugby field.
